More info about Minnesota Swarm comforters?!
Very shortly, this page will feature a
lot of information about buying Minnesota Swarm comforters.
The Minnesota Swarm is an indoor lacrosse
team in the National Lacrosse League. The team plays at the Xcel Energy
Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota
The team owners (Minnesota Sports & Entertainment), who also own the NHL's
Minnesota Wild, purchased the rights to the inactive Montreal Express team
on August 10, 2004. The name Swarm was selected over Thrill, Rush and
Bullheads. Team colors are blue, gold and silver. The coach of the Swarm
for the first season was Mike Simpson and the general manager is Marty
O'Neill.
The Minnesota Swarm played their first exhibition game on December 10,
2004 against the Colorado Mammoth. The team drew over 14,000 fans, a
record for the NLL in preseason. Most of the tickets were free.
The Swarm's first regular season game was at the Rochester Knighthawks on
January 1, 2005 in which the Swarm won 12-11. Craig Conn scored the first
goal in franchise history. Their first home regular season game was
January 21, 2005 against the Buffalo Bandits.
Forward Craig Conn and defenseman Ryan Cousins were named reserves for the
East Division All-Star Team at the 2005 NLL All Star Game. Ryder Bateman
ranked tied for second among NLL rookies in goals and third in scoring.
The team finished the season with a 5-11 record.
In August 2005, Adam Mueller was named as the head coach of the team.
Washing a down comforter...
Washing down is no huge problem. And
really, you are best off doing it yourself.
Of course, if there's a local Laundromat,
that offers cleaning services (usually by the pound)—and that you can
trust to follow some special instructions—you could take your comforter there.
And you may have to anyway, as the only
caveat is that washing MUST be done in a commercial-type, front-loading
machine, or a newer home washing machine like the Maytag Neptune (which is
a front-loader).
You can't use a top-loading machine with
an agitator, as that will tear the baffles inside the bag. Simply toss a
bag/comforter or some clothes and mild liquid detergent into the machine
and wash on warm/gentle. Rinse the stuff a few extra times to make sure
all the detergent is out of the down. Then, toss it into a big dryer, on
medium. Some people like to toss in a tennis ball, as that will help break
up the wet down clumps. Some people also say that too will tear the
baffles. A few cotton towels likely would accomplish the same thing, and
be gentler on the comforter.
Down stuff requires some care, especially if you are washing a favorite
comforter, like a Minnesota Swarm comforter, but remember that washing MUST be done in a
commercial-type, front-loading machine.
